How we started

The Up North Lodge is family owned and run business in northern Wisconsin. We orginally started back in the 1800s as a cabin rental company for hunting trips. As we continued our jounrey, we expanded our services to those who are looking to get away from the city and spend time connecting with nature. It is our pride to offer a number of rooms and cabins for various needs and individuals, all with their own unique story to tell.

 

Depending on the season, there are different rooms and locations avilable for rent. The current highlighted listings will be on our home page, but more details can be found under the accomodations page as well. For those looking for a specific acitivtiy, we ask that you ieither contact us direcly for recommended planning times, or conduct your own research into the manner.

 

Why Up North Lodge?

From the beautiful lakes, to the white sandy beaches, and the thick forested hiking trails there is so much to do, which makes the Up North lodge a popular tourist location. We have a little bit of everything for anyone! Some of our most popular acitivtes include canoeing and boating on the cool waters and exploring the 50KM walking paths throughout the surrounding mountains.
